COME SCRIVERE LA
"COVER LETTER" E LA" REFERENCE LETTER" AGLI
OSPEDALI USA PER RICHIEDERE UNA RESIDENCY O UNA FELLOWSHIP:

COVER LETTER

Dear Doctor
Doe,
My position is Director of xxx at the University of xxx. Dr. Rossi is currently a 4th year resident in cardiology in my department. I have supervised him since 1998 when he was a 6th year medical student. He is very reliable both professionally and personally. He is highly motivated, trustworthy and relates well to my staff and his peers.
He has accomplished a great deal in the past 4 years and demonstrates great interest for cardiology and medicine in general. I am sure that he will be able to overcome the difficulties of the transition to the U.S. Knowing him, I have encouraged his interests in pursuing training in the U.S.
Dr. Francesco Rossi deals with pre- and postoperative patients in cardiovascular surgery and is very familiar with….
He has participated in clinical research with staff members and our results were published in……. He has expressed to me his interest in broadening his knowledge and skills. I am sure that a residency in Internal Medicine at your hospital would enrich his already excellent theoretical and practical base.
I sincerely recommend Dr Franco Rossi as an outstanding candidate. I am sure he will be a credit to your program. Should you need additional information please do not hesitate to write or call.
Sincerely
Giovanni Bianchi
